Who am I

Hi, my name is Marco and I am an italian Network Engineer and photo amateur.

I have decided again to publish a site, but this time I leave my photos speak on my behalf. I have tried in the past to set up a blog, failing one attempt after the other: I had nothing to say, I believe.

I started my photography journey in 2016, with a pre-owned and low end DSLR (a Canon 4xx something). After a holiday in Sicily, I felt the need to switch to mirrorless, and, since I was on a budget, I bought a micro four-third system (Olympus OM-D EM 10 Mark II), which I still use today.

Before going to Japan on my honeymoon in August 2023, I have bought a new lens, first time since 2016.

I don’t have the need to buy the best camera gear out there, since this hobby is rather expensive. Moreover, I strongly believe that it is not the tool that makes the execution perfect -it is quite the opposite!, but still I wish to buy a new camera! 🤪
